Toadstool Garden and Landscaping Services
Toadstool Gardens was established in 1966 by Allan Rodwell. He established the business on a plot in Benoni on the East Rand now Ekhuruleni. Allan and his wife raised their family of 4 children on this same plot where the business was running. As the years went by his eldest son Clinton took a keen interest in plants and studied Horticulture. He eventually joined Allan in Business. Some Years later Allan’s third son Neil also joined the business and is now at the helm of the Toadstool ship still working side by side with his Dad and Brother to this day. The business is still run from the same all these years later.
Our Work Ethic
From the day that Toadstool Gardens was started we have believed in working hard to achieve the desired end product for our customers. We go the extra mile to ensure that our customers receive the product that they want by closely interacting with them from the beginging of the project to its completion. We do not take short cuts and our main aim is not to be the cheapest but to be the best through our knowledge and hands on approach. It is very important that when we are finished a garden the customer is wowed and feels like they got value for money. Our well trained staff are like family to us and all our staff has been with us for 7 years with some being with us up to 30 years. It is important that our staff are happy and enjoy their jobs. It is for this reason that staff turnover is extremely low. Furthermore we as owners feel it is important that we are on the sharp end of the business so we pride ourselves in always being on site when we are busy with our gardens. We only have one team and for this reason we can pay full attention to that garden and see it through to completion before starting another job.
